Yes, been there briefly when I was younger
For me it was a first, pretty funny though. I think he is just a legend in his village.
Don’t know him personally, but in american-car-enthusiast circles his name pops up constantly. He sells a lot of car parts etc.
When I went there was a bunch of confederate flag crap
Haven’t heard of him but Finland has plenty of interesting people doing their own thing, many Finns have a mindset of live and let live so if you are not bothering anyone no one cares what you do.
Saw him in some news article (probably YLE) around the USA elections last year.
Pretty much everyone who live in south ostrobothnia.
This guy pops up in the media every now and then. Last time I came across him he was being interviewed about the US presidential elections.
He’s shop is near where I work. And live.
Yeah, there’s several like him. I think it was a thing in the 80’s, after getting rid of Finlandization, u.s. was the best thing ever, and finland was the little u.s.
He just made video from our capital, Helsinki. So yes, ofc I noticed him at first glance.

He is very well known in Southern Ostrobothnia. His shop and car collection are actually quite interesting. For example he has a president’s old offical car and Kekkonen’s old boat. Im very happy that our region gets some kind regonizion too. Hope he visits Keskisen kyläkauppa and maybe Kyrö Distillery too if he is in the region 😀
