Y’all stocked up right?
Again, if I was a foreign hostile entity infiltrating a nation and became president, this is exactly what I would do.
Not gonna have to worry about the high prices when there’s nothing on the shelf.
Food shortages.
In the United States.
Are we great again?
Whoops! So much for those Trump lower prices hey?
They knew this. What was it they called it “temporary shocks as the system readjusts” or similar.
Duh. Most vegetables we eat are grown in the US, yet prices are skyrocketing. It’s because no one is picking them.
Just went grocery shopping today. The produce section, at a major chain grocer, was in the worst shape I’ve seen since covid. I’m unsure if I just hit it at a bad point in time or if there’s a real issue, but it’s a grocery store that normally has decent produce.
Meat and milk prices are getting to be stupidly high, too.
Actual food shortages in this country versus shortages of variety will collapse the federal government within weeks if not days.
Americans have not dealt with anything close to that for generations and will revolt very quickly! Remember how freaked out people across the spectrum got during the Covid lockdown? Magnify that by a million.
I am not even basing this on politics! Americans will be murdering each other and anyone who even looks like they’re part of the government inside a week.
So once again for the umpteenth time the thing everyone said was going to happen is happening. Yet again shit for brains is in denial.
Groceries being too cheap was a big complaint of MAGA voters, right?
adding hunger to measles…. What a strange strategy to MAGA
The Manchurian President
I’m starting to think that impulse-buying all of those dried beans wasn’t such a stupid idea after all.
What Trump is doing is terrible but we absolutely should not go back to the way things were before. If illegal immigrants are so important to our economy then they need to be given permanent legal status and the same rights and protections as American citizens.
Nope not true. There’s so much soy bean everyone can have. Right.
The answer is obviously forced labor concentration camps.
Good! Pay americans 50 bucks a damn hour if that’s what it takes, and food should be more expensive anyways, everyone is obese!
Weird..
How long before we see Trump activating the National Guard for emergency farm work that was once done by migrant workers.
So….
When is the Secretary of Labor being fired?
Which means he doesn’t care about the people. Him and his thugs have big plans for the US and along with destroying everything it stands for, God knows what is next.
No surprise there. Since tRump has never worried about food insecurity, he doesn’t care.
Duh. That’s the point silly. Come on. Wake up.
This winter is going to be like the end of fucking days.
Asmongold would call this an emotional argument you gotta boil it down to logic cmon, if you rob banks for 20 years (yes I know it’s unrelated and sounds emotional) then you shouldn’t be rewarded for it just like all the illegals that have lived here and contributed to society for the last 20 years cmon guys it’s real
When you suffocate your labor force by making your policy based on stupid and bigoted policies and parade it around, what would they think would happen? Multiple bubbles popping, one for cheap labor (https://washingtonstatestandard.com/2025/08/08/farmworkers-union-fights-to-curb-migrant-h-2a-visa-expansion-in-whatcom-skagit/) and https://www.wuwf.org/florida-news/2025-10-10/floridas-agriculture-industry-could-suffer-if-h-2a-workers-are-too-hesitant-to-come. When even people who do the right thing get deported, scaring away others (https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2025/10/ice-deportations-immigration-trump-new-york-city.html) and tariff trade war isn’t going to help (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/oct/10/trump-china-trade-war-soybeans) job creation still at an all time low (https://www.cnbc.com/2025/10/02/report-shows-hiring-at-lowest-since-2009-as-economists-turn-to-alternative-data-during-shutdown-blackout.html). We are head for some bad times.
1) create the crime of poverty.
2) punish with four years of unpaid labor.
3) price list for companies that need slaves.
I thought that was the point? I’m confused, I thought it was clear they were trying to kill everyone.
It’s almost like we all talked about this back when his goon squads were snatching brown people in California and he had to start rambling about slavery (brown people might be considered citizens only while on farm property) as a stopgap.
Many people saw this coming.
say the situation is immediately reversed everything goes back to where we were in December of last year. can we ever even hope to recover from this.
Less food. More price.
Welcome to Trump’s America.
Yeah.
The people who work the farms, pick the crops, operate the meat packing plants, butcher the animals, and other jobs, either got disappeared or stopped coming here to work.
Americans have no interest in doing those jobs.
We also don’t produce remotely enough food to feed everyone, and a ton of it’s imported. Yet we’ve tariffed the shit out of everything and pissed off our long time trade partners.
The majority of farmers produce corn and soybeans that they now can’t sell because they got screwed over by Trump.
This is what happens when the President and leadership of the country has no idea what they’re doing. These people crave power, but have no idea how to govern when they have it.
Hashtag whocouldhaveknown
Gotta get a quiet warning out to both not disturb dear leader but to also warn people that prices are about to go up and shelves may start looking empty.

May be a war on Christmas this year at this pace. And you know all they’re going to focus on is celebrating the “victory” of being allowed to finallly say “Merry Christmas” without any repercussions.
Today a small steak at the grocery was $25.
Smaller than my hand. Not prime or special or whatever.
A small pot roast was $30.
America can’t afford to eat beef under a Trump presidency.
