Ich besuchte Freunde in Suurpelto, Espoo und parkte hinter diesen Schildern. Nach ein paar Stunden, als ich wegfuhr, wurde ich von der Polizei angehalten und sagte, dass ich nicht dorthin fahren dürfe, da es nur für Busse sei. Sie erhielten meine Daten und teilten mir per Post mit, dass ich mit einer Strafe rechnen müsse.

    Was bedeutet "Gilt für den Transit" meinst du in diesem Fall? Gilt es als Durchfahrt, wenn ich geparkt habe und dann nach längerer Zeit geradeaus weiterfahre?

    1. If that is what really happened, you should not have gotten fined.

      You can probably dispute the fine.

      „Koskee läpiajoa“ = concerning through traffic. If you were parking in this spot, then the sign was not concerning you.

    3. You can dispute this, especially with the dashcam. Why didn’t you tell the officer you were parked there?

    4. If your friends lived in this area you should have been allowed to park there, but if the cops saw you walking there from further away it may have looked like you just used that as a parking spot, and fined you because of that…

    5. So many idiots don’t read that sign and drive through. It’s nice to hear that the police are actually giving fines for the drivers.

      If this actually happened, I would go to court and see the cops faces after your dashcam footage played to them.

      This is bullying, and I highly suspect they will face at least some consequences when the fine is overruled in court.
