There are a lot of unanswered questions. This could be a black hole for government spending.
Ground-based defense in North America makes tactical and technological sense, but I’m nowhere near sold on the idea that it makes either strategic or economic sense. Collaboration with the US Navy on Aegis/SM-3 and SM-6 for our own Navy makes sense to me.
