I was at a“ No Kings“ event a few months ago. It was a large crowd of nice people. Some even brought their kids and dogs. Even the maga protesters were polite.

Support for the 1st amendment has not weakened – it has *strengthened* in the last year, with 80% of Americans saying the government has gone too far in restricting free speech.
