      Maybe it would be worth meeting with xi if we could optimize and set a confident tone of how we do things without being a spazz, that would require a lot of energy spent on not being offensive I know, work together humans ffs, it’s possible to do that without loosing face.

      The word ‘tariff’ doesn’t sound serious anymore. Trump uses it so often that whatever weight it once had feels lost. I don’t mean it’s lost its real economic impact, but as a threat, it just sounds kind of juvenile now.

      They got no rare earth, ok. Its only a harpo…hypo…am I saying that correctly? A hy-po-the-sis. Nobody knows if the earth is rare, in fact there could be many more earths, and you wouldn’t even know, believe me. I even saw on TV that some might have ancient aliens. Aliens. Aliens. Not many people know this, and they won’t tell me.

      This isn’t a surprise, Trump has been outmaneuvered at every turn by Xi. He probably had a lame zinger lined up for the meeting and the rare-earth restrictions likely preempted that.

      This is hilarious considering he’s complaining about them holding the world ‚captive‘ and having ’sinister‘ and ‚hostile‘ methods. Does that sound like someone we know? He got outplayed at his own game. I bet China called off the talks, and he’s just acting like he did it. You know, kind of like causing a government shutdown and then blaming it on democrats. 

      If something goes well, he wants full credit. If something goes wrong, it’s someone else’s fault.
