Trump needs to follow this peace process to its conclusion to be eligible for the peace prize imo. If he manages that then he deserves to win it

I don’t get why people were entertaining the idea that Trump would be a serious contender for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize. I understand Reddit speculating wildly as we often do, but even major media outlets were jumping on the idea. The truth is was that it was never going to happen, and likely will never happen regardless of what Trump accomplishes. While the Nobel Peace Prize Committee does make a lot of stupid choices already (at least that is my opinion), Trump is too much of a polarising figure that I really struggle to see how anyone could think he could actually get it.
