He’s not entirely wrong — most “wars” end up being about resources, not justice.

We’ve got an out of control WH full of incompetent, unhinged, unrepentant people hell bent on destroying others no matter the cost because they are insecure, dishonest small human beings at heart.

Oil is just a silver lining, Trump wants a war and doesn’t really care who with. Preferably one that’s an easy win.

He thinks a war would boost his popularity, by extension justify his military occupation of US cities but mainly just distract from releasing the Epstein files which seems inevitable now.

These are illegal strikes not authorized by any current declaration of war or aumf. Why are people not talking about that?

    5. Remember when GWB was absolutely certain there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Then proven to be a bald faced liar who got countless service members killed and traumatized purely for business interests? I’m guessing there might have been a bottle of Tylenol on this boat.

_The White House said in a statement that it „looks forward to President Petro publicly retracting his baseless and reprehensible statement“._

Says the people who killed a bunch of people on the grounds that „They were terrorists. Trust me, bro“.

    7. Trump going against an autocratic state should be considered a win. Just saying

    8. with Trump, the United States has taken on the role of international criminals and the Senate’s support for Trump makes it clear that America is a state of war… and in the end it’s just another action to rob another country

This whole thing is about oil. None of this is about drugs.

    10. That sounds so unlike the US.. causing coups, waging war, funding rebels for oil. Nah couldn’t be

    11. Once again, Congress supports Trump. The checks and balances on executive power don’t work because only one third of Americans voted for the opposition. Republican government officials at all levels want to get reelected above all else and they think following Trump is the best way to do this. Also, many of them agree with his policies.

Well, the US now has a policy of extrajudicial murder – no evidence. No proof. All you need is to ‘look like’ you are criminal. And ‘look like’ is defined as driving a high powered boat. That’s all that’s required to be murdered. Won’t be long before the ‘looks like’ is used in the US to justify on the street execution. Today ICE vans drive around looking, with SCOTUS approval, any one in racial groups – bundled into the van and jailed. This is not freedom. This is how the US dies under a wave of violence and state sponsored murder.

Petro doesn’t have a single piece of evidence to prove whether the people on that boat were Colombian or not. It’s best if he stays silent if he doesn’t have proof.

Trump adm. is combining the war on drugs with the war on terror. To do what? Overthrow an adverserial govenrment in „their“ hemissphere with an added bonus by securing their vast natrual resources and denying them for China.

    15. Remember when the USA used to hide its murdering and you’d hear about it decades later on a PBS documentary? No anymore since the US Government of the GOP went full Shameless for Trump.

Absolute nonsense – Columbia’s president gets dumber every time he opens his mouth.

    17. I’m pretty sure that Trump is the least war-mongering president since Carter. You guys are tripping
