    1. Next on the agenda, enforcing oil and tariffs by presidential decree and deadly force

Yep White House and whoever is running this is sabotaging whatever the fuck they think they are doing.

However, I would not be surprised if Petro is claiming it to start a war.

Petro has already gone on record calling NATO an army of darkness and many similar things.

Petro has a vision of gran colombia and ‚former‘ colombian soldiers are very involved on both sides of the ukranian war among other wars.

personally i have petro locked as a russian toadie

Petro has also done joint exercises with venezuela

    3. I mean yea, there are several motivations for this conflict and oil is certainly one of them, but is Colombia going to act like Columbians have no hand in cartel activities as well?

How pathetic is it that the mighty US military is blowing up fishing boats.

    5. The US really needs to strengthen ties with our southern neighbors… this crap being pulled will cause generational probs.

“It’s a war for Oil” AKA its a war to save Republicans from the storm coming once their lies about Trump and Epstein are brought to light.

I’m confused as to his motivation. Is he claiming credit for the drugs?

    8. Venezuela has the largest proven oil reserves in the world and is ruled by a dictator the US government does not like.

Anyone that thinks these escalating attacks on Venezuelans hasn’t paid enough attention to history. The US is trying to poke Venezuela until they retaliate which will then legitimize a war declaration with the intent of regime change and eventually control of these oil reserves. This is straight out of the neocon playbook. It’s just like Iraq

      It’s always about the money

The US already has the massively promising findings in Guyana, and is now involved in their oil production. It’s going to be swimming in easy-to-access oil very soon.

Trump going after Maduro is unlikely to be about oil, and is instead probably due to Maduro’s malign influence in the region—including in Colombia itself.
