> “This is something that’s become a big part of the news because people, a lot of comedians especially, are very upset, because the people who paid the comedians to come to this are not good people. It’s a pretty brutal regime. They’ve done a lot of horrible, horrible things,” Kimmel said of the Islamic regime led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
> “People are questioning why you would go over there and take their money to perform in front of these people,” Kimmel added. “I’m curious as to why you decided to do that.”
The moral policing of aziz ansari is ludicrous. The guy’s career was devastated by the *slightest* of missteps in a private setting that the ‘victim’ didn’t even want to come out. He probably needs to make some money and if I was him I wouldn’t give a damn where it came from, since all his ideological allies threw him to the wolves. Kimmel is a hack for this callout.

Jimmy Kimmel „intensely grills“ the same way I „tamely nudge“.
Pretty lame how Burr gets the most heat while „he makes silly voices“ gets a pass. Gabriel Iglesias is a total phony and he tries acting like some low level celebrity when dude has millions. He owns 1000s of vintage cars and still acts like he isn’t mega rich.
>*“There’s people over there that don’t agree with the stuff that the government’s doing, and to ascribe like the worst behavior of the government onto those people, that’s not fair,”*
Ok, but it’s not like he was paid by a club or promoter to put on a show. He was paid specifically by the govt doing those terrible things.
Not a tense interview. Not a grilling. Fk OP.
No one is watching Jimmy… again.
Jimmy is swinging on everyone. Holy smokes
Oh the guy that got cancelled for giving a girl the world’s most pathetic night is groveling for royalty? How surprising. It’s good to watch these worms shrivel up in the daylight tho.
They act like the same shit aint happening in America, bro the hypocrisy is wild.
This wasn’t even slightly tense, this was a softball interview
Crazy how many people will whore themselves out for money and fame…integrity is worth its weight in gold in today’s world.
Like Burr, he made it sound like he was performing a public service — reaching the people who need what they’re putting down. Their ability to ignore the “yeah, but …” is impressive.
