I know, Trump this, and Trump that, blah blah blah.
Cool, let’s act like adults for a minute and focus on the realities of a potential WW3. The reality is there’s about 3 options if war actually kicks off:
1. We didn’t prepare, and now the US needs to put boots on the ground in Canada to intercept ICBM’s. Do you think they’d leave if they had that pretext to essentially annex us in the name of “safety”? Yeah, likely not.
2. We didn’t prepare and the US, for some reason, decides we’re on our own. Great now Canadian cities and bases are going to get wiped off the map since we lack any defences against such weapons.
3. We *do* prepare, and can now defend our sovereignty without the US coming into our nation, and covering us with their military umbrella.
Does it suck?
Yeah.
Do I *desperately* wish Canada had maintained an army akin to the one we fielded in WW2 or Korea?
Heck yes.
But is that the reality?
Sadly no.

You gotta feel for Liberal supporters at this point. All the time spent ranting and raving about various topics just for Carney to do the opposite and then being forced to defend the pivot as a 4D chess move. Abusive relationship like American conservatives and Trump

There are accounts here that regularly and constantly show up to cheerlead for american Canadian integration. Don’t trust them.

Canada has known for years that it’s job is to maintain resources and land for the US to come and take when the climate wars start, Air Force general says
