      Wait, the US has the highest rate? And has been higher than the UK and Canada for 25 years? Is there a why?

    3. Why is this a non-zeroed Y axis? It makes the difference between US and UK look proportionally way bigger than reality.

      I know having more whitespace than necessary isn’t quite as pretty, but it’s pretty important for enabling people to correctly interpret the visuals.
