All centras/circle k’s/Mace are rip off merchants. Absolutely fleecing people left and right.
Bring one up to the counter. When it tags as 2.50 ask them about it. Then refuse it.

It’s a convenience. The clue is in the name. They’re selling convenience to people who’d rather pay more than travel further or wait longer.
