If it can discourage the sale of new fur I’m all for it.

However, as someone from a cold climate, nothing keeps warm like a used fur coat. Much more ethical than buying a polyester plastic coat too.

Biodegradable real fur? No thanks. I prefer synthetic faux fur for my microplastics needs.

Whether this decision sticks, depends purely on trump’s current view about fur coats

    4. Fur farming is awful and I agree should be banned. We don’t need farmed minks!

I wish, however, that we distinguished between fur farming and other natural fiber and leather products.

Fur has a time and place.

You live in the Yukon? Sure.

You live in downtown Miami? Probably not so necessary

    6. So, now we’re going to throw away all those hides of animals that had to be killed anyway to eat?
Maybe focus less on the product, and more on the way of acquisition. leftover fur is perfectly suitable to be used.
It’s pretty hypocrite to be outraged about wearing fur, while eating cow.
