Leading up to the Trump ’24 presidency, some of his naive supporters were hoping that US funding to other countries would finally be reduced. This obviously never happened, as the US continues to fund endless wars. The elite have zero interest in helping the local population. There is a conscious push to put Israel first, as many of those in positions of power are agents of Mossad, either willingly or unwillingly through the use of blackmail. I brought this point up to my conservative friends and they had no answers.. other than “They’re our greatest asset/ally in the Middle East.” I’m dumbfounded by the amount of people who don’t see the issue with us sending billions and paying for others health care.. We have an exponential amount of people struggling to make it day to day and most don’t have a shred of empathy. It’s sickening to see how the government has practically brain washed us to turn our backs on our own people. It’s been going on for far too long and sad as hell.

I personally believe sending money to other countries is our best fight against inflation from a fiscal perspective….one that nobody seems to identify when talking about our foreign „assistance“.Everyone knows money printing only leads to one place …we have seen this many times before. What i think is different now is the fact that the currency being printed holds a special „status“,that of the worlds reserve currency. By sending money elsewhere, we are forcing other countries to effectively shoulder inflation collectively. Rather than acute effects here in the us, its spread across the world is much smaller and as a result rises at a slower rate….our attempt to hold inevitably at bay. if we injected all the money we printed into the us, inflation would absolutely devour us.

So when we hear we’re giving, say, $10B in military aid to Israel, it’s not that we just give them a bunch of suitcases of $100 bills. It’s given as grants to purchase US military equipment.
The money stays in the US for these kinda of things. the money ultimately circulates within the U.S. economy, supporting American jobs. It also will often be a way for us to sell old arms and make new.
While I agree not all foreign aid is like this, and we should have more domestic aid, I just want to make sure we realize that money isn’t given as cash.
