    1. >The statement, posted Monday on social media, came after Johnson announced the order barring federal immigration agents from entering city property without a judicial warrant. The post read: „This is SICK. He is aiding and abetting criminal illegal immigrant killers, rapists, traffickers, and gang bangers.“

The use of gang bangers tells me the person who wrote this lives in a rural bubble and has ZERO inner city experience.

    2. I like the idea but sadly I dont think this will hold up in court

ICE is causing more issues than its helping and they are consistently not following the law in their operations

    3. Lmao the states’ rights / don’t tread on me crowd sure became jackboot Statist thugs real fast.

Shouldn’t it be easy to get a warrant for killers, rapists and traffickers?

      > „This is SICK. He is aiding and abetting criminal illegal immigrant killers, rapists, traffickers, and gang bangers.“

Trump was literally best friends with the world’s most notorious pedophile human trafficker rapist, and he himself was found liable for rape. His political party is currently blocking the release of the Epstein files because it’s so damning to him.

Who is actually aiding and abetting criminals here? Could it possibly be the convicted felon traitor President himself?

Another distraction to keep people from focusing on the fact that the President of the United States fucked kids and is covering up for other people that fucked kids.

Using religion as justification to do all the bad things they want to do. They’re great at that.

    8. The White House says it’s a threat to public safety yet the White House is the one ordering the random kicking down of doors of the average innocent citizen with impunity and I’ve not really heard it documented that they’ve been able to produce a warrant when they do so.

These executive orders of the White House are
un-American in principle, should be immediately challenged in court, and furthermore federal employees have sworn an oath to disregard and disobey executive orders if they believe they are unconstitutional or in conflict with existing federal law.

Imagine claiming that being asked to have a warrant to prove you have a reason to go after people is Sick.

Just limit ICE activities to areas of these cities mostly controlled by gangs. Then we will see how confident these losers feel in their riot gear.

    11. The Trump administration is a threat to public safety and the rule of law, and should be met with strong resistance anywhere possible.

    12. ProfessionalFly9848 on

They thought everyone was just going roll over. The trump administration is chronically opposed to working or putting forth any effort. Their entire life has been handed to them on a gold platter. Keep pushing back and they’ll fold.

    13. I love it. If Trump is openly declaring war on American cities, then American cities need to go into defensive mode by any means necessary.

    14. Deploying American troops on American soil is against the law and the constitution but breaking the law or shitting on the constitution never stop treasonous trump and the GOP are cheering him on. The courts need to grow a backbone and stop these invasions before the Gestapo starts goose-stepping on the streets. Trump is looking for a reason to declare civil unrest, then declare martial law send in the regular military, cancel elections and make people disappear

They only care about states rights when states are banning women’s healthcare

I want to know which of the kids they are dragging from their beds in the middle of the night are “murders, rapists, traffickers and gang bangers”

      It’s all about states’ rights…until it’s a blue state 🤔🤔🤔🤔

“The White House’s Rapid Response 47 account issued a scathing rebuke”.

What, they’re going to angrily jump up and down with smoke coming out of their ears?

      This administration is Looney Toons.

    19. I feel like this is gonna be a hot topic for a while. Anyone else think this could actually make a difference or is it just political theater?

    20. I’ll take slang for 100 please.

This phrase was used to describe any non-white criminal in the 80s and 90s.

      *bbbzzst*

      What is, “Gang Bangers?”

Correct, now the term is.. Immigrant or Asylum Seeker.

    21. NYC-WhWmn-ov50 on

If ICE was actually going after ‚illegals‘ they would he plastering the details of each and every arrest in the papers and on the ’net. The fact they the release absolutely NO details about ANY arrests tells you what you need to know- they’re hiding that pretty much NONE of their deportations would hold up in court.

They have to get their victims out before they can be found and defended by even the most minimally competant lawyers, because Trump’s lawyers are all incompetant boobs. How many lawyers who have worked for him have been disbarred?

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
      Then they came for me
And there was no one left
      To speak out for me

    23. >The move drew immediate backlash from the White House’s Rapid Response 47 account, which accused Johnson of „aiding and abetting criminal illegal immigrant killers, rapists, traffickers, and gang bangers.“

Do we have any numbers on how many „criminal illegal immigrant killers, rapists, traffickers, and gang bangers“ have been detained vs all the other people being arrested? Or preferably, compared to the amount of people showing up at immigration court to do things the right way, or people that had their legal status revoked before arresting them and similar cases.

    24. dutchmen1999 on

“The White House” is a term that no longer carries any significance or meaning anymore

    25. botspiderlau on

This aiding and abetting „criminals, gang-bangers, and rapists“ claim is empty at this point. ICE is just picking up naturalized citizens with a weed violation 25 years ago, Latinos selling oranges, and day laborers at Home Depot. Their words have no credibility.

    26. > killers, rapists, traffickers, and gang bangers

The White House is looking in the wrong direction. They should try a mirror..

    27. AdHopeful3801 on

This one’s going to be really interesting.

Scalia articulated a defense of the „anti-commandeering doctrine“ back when it was the Federal government trying to compel local law enforcement to do background checks for the Brady Bill. Essentially, the point being that if Federal authority can compel the states to enforce Federal law, then the states have no actual say over how their money gets spent. ( [Printz v. United States | Oyez](https://www.oyez.org/cases/1996/95-1478) )

Fascist takeover requires federalizing the police forces. It took that back in Weimar Germany, and the US is even bigger and sprawlier.

If SCOTUS rules affirmatively against Chicago in this one, they’ll be admitting they don’t expect a Democratic President to exist any time in the foreseeable future.
