I’m sure China cares.
It’s kind of funny how most people in Asia and the global south see the Ukraine war as a regional European war taking place in the backwaters of Europe between two corrupt states, and how the Europeans is trying to make this war into everyone’s problem.
I am honestly surprised that anyone would be surprised that China is doing anything but actively supporting Putin.
The potential strategic implications for China are massive if Russia is hammered into either a truce or even a retreat. Tough to use a beaten ally as your stalking horse ….
