Why hasn’t the national guard been deployed to the white house for Trump trying to redact his name off of Epstein’s list?

    2. As always, imagine this headline as „Obama sends National Guard to Alabama“ and the outcry of the GOP.

    3. Are they no national guard generals or state attorney generals realising his orders are illegal?

Why aren’t any of them just refusing on the grounds that he doesn’t have the legality to order them in?

At this point, it seems like the state AGS should be threatening the leaders of their state guard with prosecution if they choose to follow trump’s orders.

Well Oregon’s national guard now has something to do. encircle the California guard and tell them to sit there till they are sent home.

    5. StrangerFew2424 on

Oregon should send their national guard to block the ones from CA….

    6. wanderingpeddlar on

Not to mention they need to be getting a emergency injunction from Trump using the national guard as two separate federal judges have said they can’t.

Posse Comitatus motherfucker! Donald is provoking the people in this country into war with each. Sick prick is pure evil.

    8. I mean if he can’t deploy the NG to the state they’re from, what makes deploying them to a different state any different. I find it hard to believe the ruling teetered on where the NG originated in regards to their deployment.

People who think our military would refuse slaughter of civilians, I’d start paying attention about now.

Who could have seen this coming when a career conman and criminal who also incited a violent insurrection was allowed to run and hold office again

    11. It’s time to start putting all of the focus on the Republican members of Congress. They are entirely culpable for empowering these abuses.

Overtly breaking the law and a judge’s order. Party of law and order is a joke much like their reasons for voting for him. Fuck all them and I hope our rain will wash them away.

    13. Stunning_Mast2001 on

The crazy thing is the judge blocked the initial deployment because trump’s justification was bullshit

So trump bypassed the courts with essentially a loophole. Very anti American anti democracy behavior

    14. Clarifying questions:

      1. Did the paperwork/order already go through for the CA National Guard to go to Oregon?

      2. Are the troops from the CA National Guard already in Portland?

      3. So, I believe that Gov Newsom will now file a lawsuit.

      Comments:

All of this Nazi maneuvering is so unbelievable and audacious. So, Trump kind of sideways defied the intent of two court cases and court orders? (Judge who said don’t use CA troops as federal in LA. And, judge who said don’t send Oregon troops to Portland — including language that they were not needed.)

Truly, the Supreme Court should just pounce on this and fix it as fast as troops can be delivered from one state to another.

Now we get to see how the Civil War would have turned out if General Lee was president instead of Lincoln.

i still dont understand why people want to follow orders from a pedophile who shits his pants?

    17. Substantial__Unit on

Can’t the Oregon gov activate the Oregon National Guard to stop them from entering?

    18. Had a feeling a move like this was going to happen, just didn’t expect it this soon, and I guarantee the idea to do this didn’t come from Trump himself (if I were to bet, this is yet again Miller’s handiwork with Hegseth co-signing). This move also gives Newsom & Bonta the ammo they need to take back control of the CANG & away from Trump, and sets up what state Attorney Generals will need to do to stop him.

These frivolous deployments of the guard have to be really tough on the service members.

Many of them have full time jobs they have to leave, and employers have to keep those jobs open for their return.

Deployments need to be sparingly and for very good reason, natural disaster relief and actual national defense.

This shit is not going to be great for recruitment going forward.

    20. Imaginary_Audience_5 on

Can Oregon force their national guard to protect them from California?

    21. Troops need to begin refusing orders. It’s their oath to protect citizens and the constitution, not harm them.

    22. Shame on any Guardsmen who would follow this order.

I know it’s not your fault, but each of us has our part in refusing this autocratic takeover. Refusing illegal orders is your only option.

Doing so would nip this in the bud and give pretext for all others to refuse.

    23. Evil_Athena on

We just fucking did this! The courts just ruled that he can’t do this! What the actual fuck?!?!?!

    24. monkeyhaiku on

I kinda hope that the Portland cops do their usual and ticket anything with California plates.

    25. CheatsySnoops on

Trump thinks he’s really clever with that loophole and that it won’t backfire.

    26. Volitile_Star330 on

PLEASE!!! Someone please tell me that fucking trump BLATANTLY BROKE a judges orders…Trump basically said ‚fuck you, I’ma do it anyway?!?! I fucking can’t. I’m so fucking embarrassed to be an American. 3. More. Years. 3.

    27. The President is not able to deploy one state’s national guard against another state without authorization of the associated governors. What even?

    28. Necessary_Scheme_347 on

According to Fox News, how many times has Portland burned to the ground? 237 times? I’m surprised there’s a city to send the National Guard to!!! /s
