Yep that was very short run for the labor party.Back to Tory idiocy for the next decade.
It wont be used against pro Palestine protests. It will be used against people protesting against mass immigration and any protest seen as „far right“.
The UK is going to become a full blown police state and this has been planned for a long long time. Why do you think they have put cameras literally everywhere in the country? Every town, every street….
I am curious how UK will turn in 5 to 10 years following this path, the digital ID might help them a lot to track their citizens on internet and their government is showing a strong disgust for freedom of speech, will their next governments follow the same idea using today’s tools, will the party in power chase opposition speech and treat it like domestic terrorism ?

The country, UK, is going down the pan, as is all of Europe and all of the US vassal states around the world accepting tariffs and agreeing to increased military spending (to the US mil ind complex) trying to support the failing US hegemony. But this one world order supporting this US led hegemony can only survive now by taking off Asia(incl Russia) and the few countries left in S America and Africa.
Folks, it’s freefall now until US tries to stop Chinese trade and shipping, then war is coming, this scheme has blown it’s beans. It’s in-spinning all the way, the UK will never have it as good as it was/is again in the future. No politician is in a position to stand up against it, they’re all groomed to comply with the flow. No balls, any of them.

Protesting is a fundamental right. Whether it is people Protesting against genocide or mass migration. This is basically the end of Protesting in the UK, saying you can only protest something 1 time so we can ignore you easier is insane.
We still don’t see that they are saying and doing these things just to get elected.
If protesting is a right but it leads to no change, then what is it even for? You’re stopping it to reduce the little power it even has. Western democracy is a joke.

Politics aside, what in the actual steroids is this person? I feel like I am not looking at a „normal“ human being?
If you look at the recent laws passed like Online Safety Act, the proscription of certain groups, the weaponisation of the police against journalists and now the introduction of Digital ID, you can see a pattern moving towards an authoritarian regime where people’s opinion no longer counts.
Unfortunately, many people who support Reform UK, do not understand it and fail to support both the Palestinian cause and also our right to protest against the ongoing genocide. Doing so, these people create division where there should be unity and they weaken the opposition to the regime.
