    https://biomarkerres.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s40364-025-00831-w

You are not getting cancer a year after a shot, from the shot. No way, no how.

    2. GrimMatsuri on

Sick how they really shamed and tried to force this stuff on everyone. Where’s all the tv talking heads who pushed this shit? Would like to hear their thoughts on this.

Well you didn’t get a nasty flu but you might have cancer now. Same old shit in the profit over people big pharma scheme. And it didn’t even work for covid anyway. A lot of people still got it after getting the shot.

      Truly evil depop plandemic.

Man seems like the conspiracy theorists keep being proven right. So glad I never took the „vaccine“

EDIT: HAHA the downvotes, even in undeniable evidence by third party study and not even this study but the other countless study which prove the vaccines also cause heart defects, people refuse to believe what their own eyes show. Cognitive dissonance really is a thing. Face it you got fooled by big Pharma, they literally made billions off you suckers. They even made it where you cant even sue the pharmacies for any side effects…

who created the vaccine? what were their moral and religious beliefs? Who would do this to the people?

    5. TheLonelySombrero on

Man I still can’t believe how trump took credit for the vaccine, then took it himself multiple times and then told everyone else to take the vaccine.

Maybe the bleach injection or sunshine injection would have been better.

What was South Korea’s vaccination rate? I know for many parts of the States that it was taken at a rate higher amongst those already in vulnerable conditions — thereby meaning that the group who took the shot would automatically have a higher percentage of negative health outcomes over any subsequent time period than those who didn’t take the shot.

I say this as someone who *did not* take the shot who is not working an angle here and am genuinely trying to understand the true weight of this study

This is what GPT said when I put in the link. I did not prompt anything. I only copy and pasted the study link.

      Critical Evaluation

This is provocative, but I have serious reservations. I’ll lay them out:

      1. Causality vs association
The authors do not establish that vaccination causes cancer. Given the design (retrospective cohort, observational), residual confounding and biases are big threats.

      2. Confounding / matching / bias

      • Propensity score matching helps, but only on observable covariates. If vaccinated vs unvaccinated differ systematically in health behavior, screening rates, comorbidities, etc., those could bias results.

      • Reverse causation or detection bias: individuals vaccinated may have more contact with healthcare, get more screenings, leading to increased detection of latent cancers.

      • Surveillance bias is especially plausible for thyroid cancer (often indolent, overdiagnosed) and prostate cancer.

      3. Latency period
Most cancers have latency periods much longer than 1 year. Observing increases so soon suggests detection bias or confounding, not de novo carcinogenesis.

      4. Multiplicity, multiple comparisons
They test many cancer types (29). Some findings could be false positives due to multiple testing. They do not appear (from what I saw) to adjust for multiplicity strongly.

      5. Biological plausibility & mechanistic support
They speculate via hyperinflammation, spike protein effects, etc. But they provide no molecular or mechanistic data to back these links convincingly.

      6. Generalizability
Korean population, vaccine rollout, surveillance practices may differ from other countries. Also their vaccine types (cDNA, heterologous) may not map exactly to what’s used in US/Europe.

      7. Effect sizes
Some HRs are modest (e.g. ~1.2). In observational epidemiology, small effect sizes are vulnerable to confounding. Only prostate and lung look more robust.

      8. Booster dose effect description vague
They say booster “substantially affected risk” for gastric & pancreatic cancers, but I’d want more clarity: direction, magnitude, consistency.

    8. SedonaVortex on

I did not get my booster last time it was due and feel guilty. Its the first time I have missed, I think I am starting to feel funny even because of it. Is it possible to become addicted?

Anyway, is it necessary at this point to keep up the boosters? I think I have had like 16 or 17. My mom and sister in SF are still getting their boosters. They get sick sometimes even with the shots. I am worried I will get sick now I have missed my dose.

    9. Whole_Relationship93 on

Wow! An expected risk increase of 69%!!!! Did I read this right?

    10. surprised not to see „the virus caused it, not the vaccine“ on this thread yet.

My guess is: the spike protein is replicating like crazy in people; the cancer is the body’s attempt to localize the problem, surround it with a tumor, isolate the poison. Yeah, I know. I’m not a doctor so what do I know.

Well, what I know is: at least 5 people who’ve gotten cancer since their shots. I’m sure it’s just coincidence. I see nothing.

    11. I-IV-I64-V-I on

Wouldn’t this just be because of normal age distribution, aka older adults more likely to get the vaccine??

How many times does this need repeating…correlation does not equal causation.

    14. Arcticwolf1505 on

This study? again, really? at least get some NEW conspiracies

      >They note ~1% higher hazard of cancer in vaccinated vs unvaccinated populations. Their P-value for that is 0.803. That means there is an 80.3% chance by their math, that their data is just ***random chance***.

      >Also their 95% confidence interval is 0.95 to 1.06

      >That means that they estimate the incidence of cancer risk for vaccinated people to be somewhere between 95% and 106% of that of unvaccinated people. That’s probably well within the normal range of any comparisons.
If you want to argue that it increases your risk of getting cancer, it may well REDUCE your risk by the same token. You can’t take the furthest end of a confidence interval as your one truth, that’s why its an interval.

      >TLDR: Very very very little from this study counts as significant (3 data groups w/ P-values (<0.05)). That’s why they recommended further study, because this proves absolute jackshit

      >(in case my TLDR was too long): you don’t understand the slightest bit of statistics or science

-quote by me from last time this study was brought up in the same exact sub three days ago

    15. Arcticwolf1505 on

Before y’all comment, could you take a minute and explain what P-value and hazard ratio means and how they apply to this study? because you probably can’t

Say goodbye to the DoD or should I say the DoW because everyone was vaccinated.

    17. I’d be more worried about multiple covid infections than I would this tbh the developing long covid studies that people want to ignore (including decrease of grey matter in the brain furthering cognitive decline) would be something worth paying attention to over this when so many other conditions (chemicals in food/products, pfas, etc) are already leading to cancer in the long run…

Edit: gotta love the instant downvotes yet no rebuttals what a joke lmaooo
