Sem mislil da bodo demokrati bolj uspesni… pa majo se manj % od levice, resnice…

Nevem katera stranka je sedaj Prebelič.

Možno, da nas čaka brezvladje ali Resnica v vladi.

Izgleda da bo slovenska politika dosegla nov dno

Se dobro da 30% ljudi v anketi “ne vedo” ali “ne bi glasovali”. Dzabe taksne ankete…

Resnica gang we are in

I lived in Slovenia for some years – moved there right around the time he was put into office even though Jankovic had won, and the first major wave of anti-Jansa protests took place. I was never able to understand Jansa’s pull, until I very recently learnt about his history and what a national symbol he was for Slovenia. What a deeply confusing person… going from defending free speech, standing up against fascism, and being a martyr for freedom… to swinging to the other side and being a fascist representative of the country…

But now I at least understand his popularity… he was quite the martyr, and a bit of a hero. Great for people who don’t want to dig too deep into politics and governing systems…

One thing I greatly respect about Slovenes is their readiness to protest – regularly and in large numbers. But I wonder how the rest of the country fails to see that it’s only when Jansa is in power do these massive protests become a regular, normal thing… do they not notice?
