I really would like to know how Republicans can always control the narrative and are never hurt when they do the things that they would have completely piled on a Democrat for doing. There are those old clips of trump saying that the President is responsible when there’s a shutdown. If this was Joe Biden or Kamala Harris and there was a government shutdown under their presidencies and all they did was play golf and talk about their big new ballrooms, the Republicans would be making so much hay over it.
