As long as everyone in top positions are not white this is perfectly fine and nothing to see here……..

    2. Ofc they hire their own community and no one says anything because… that’s xenophobic!

    3. And men only hire other men for upper management. Look at the board of directors across American businesses….they’re 90% white males. So?

If they’re qualified for the position and perform the job well, what’s the issue?

    5. It’s not just blanket Indians. Its Indian subcultures hiring the same subcultures

    6. My uncle told me this story about when he was working in the UAE as part of an engineering crew way back in the 70s. There was this one guy who got up to supervisor level and the guy was Indian. Brought in exclusively only other Indians and they were trying to convince one of the higher ups to get my uncle (Filipino btw) fired or moved, most likely so he could get another Indian in the position.

When the higher up asked my uncle why replacing him with an Indian would be a bad idea (they ask for lower paychecks so you can see why it’s enticing), my uncle said to have an on the spot competency exam. Well, none of the people who were brought in by the Indian supervisor passed. When put under further scrutiny, it turns out all the licenses they had (which had been „inspected“ by the supervisor) were all fake. Needless to say, my uncle got to keep his job, but quite a few opened up.

Yea this happened last spring at Amazon to my job.

Over the last two years the whole department had an issue where all high level positions suddenly were going to Indians. And not those born in the US but clearly been here less than 10 years.

They then worked overtime trying to make the Hyderabad team look fantastic by blatantly manipulating everything. They would give the other team different rules secretly to play by to give them an advantage. They would steal cases from American associates and assign them to Hyderabad associates and the Americans, as you learn, are unable to reach over to India and respond while they can essentially cheat on everything out of their own department.

After years of us presenting data about all the issues and where they were blatantly cheating it all just brushed aside. They tried to get us to train them before firing us all.

To then fast forward 8 months and now since there’s no team to put them up against their numbers and work are suddenly under the microscope and being seen as horrible work.

But the goal was to fire all of us who were at the high end of the pay band so they could fire us, ship it to hyd, and then eventually back to the states using h1b visas.

We are selling our souls to India so businesses from the US can make lame attempts at a regional setup

    8. It’s a problem and will only get worse! You whites are now starting to see what us blacks have been talking about🙃

This is their culture brought to you by capitalism. The same thing is happening to my friends sticker warehouse job. She had one indian supervisor a few years ago and now it sounds like all the leads are too. Turned the job she liked into a human robot factory.

The immigration problem has always been the abuse of H1b’s but it’s never talked about because only the „haves“ can exploit it. It’s started with farming work out to india, now they are just bringing the cheap labor in.

Used to work in industrial safety and had clients all over the southwest US. A few hundred companies total. I lost track of the number of companies that conveniently only find qualified people of the same race as the folks in charge.

Aerospace manufacturing companies with Chinese management that only hire Chinese. Waste management companies with Hispanic management based in black neighborhoods that only hire other Hispanics. White owned companies only hiring whites and Asians. Trucking companies that only hire Indians.

Its the huge 7 year tax break that they get once they pass the citizenship test. There is also a work opportunity credit if they are here under „refugee“status. In short they can pay them a 25 or 35 percent less salary or wage.

Jewish people do the exact same thing and have been doing it for longer, call them out too.

    14. Since I started working as a PH, I have not seen one Indian person working in the warehouse.

Cry about it lol, we got colonized for far too long and now finally are getting what they worked hard for, if it doesn’t make you feel its fair, get your education up and try to be even 50% competent than Indians.
While I say this I also acknowledge that the ones you have been whining about being dirty or smelly is just the less fortunate kinds who still excelled at their education and landed scholarships or grants which brings them to your country!
So, ask your governments to not beg us Indians when y’all want a technological advancement and maybe you wouldn’t see all Indians in higher positions.
All in all be a little more competent than being a whiner

    16. Caste, National and regional nepotism among H1-Beeezies is rampant in the tech heavy city I live it.

The H1-B program is routinely abused and nepotism is one of the biggest and most common was it is abuse.

The program needs to be shut down, completely.

This is what JD Vance and his wife are trying to do too the government.

    18. if only we had some kind of programs to ensure diversity and equity in hiring processes, to make sure everyone can be included.

    19. fatburger321 on

HAHAHAH THE NERVE OF WHITE PEOPLE GETTING MAD OVER SHIT LIKE THIS HHAHAHAHAHHA

    20. What, like diversity, equity and inclusion laws that stop white people just hiring other white people?…

In all seriousness, these are senior positions that aren’t just predicated on the skill or talent of the person hired. It’s quite common for c-suite (not even just c-suite tbh) to hire trusted people – ie people they’ve been working with in their previous role – who they know will get behind their programme and get the job done. I would hazard to guess these people have been working together for quite a while.

This is the corporate world, this is how it works. They’re not just hiring a young, motivated individual with a can do attitude like the starbucks round the corner. They haven’t just hired on racial grounds, they know each other and trust each other.
