I thouhgt the states would collapse first. I am starting to think its the gonna be the U.K.
Labour are riddled with them, Tories are riddled with them, Farages lot are riddled with them. The public get astroturfed, played, made to hate, blinded but it’s becoming so obvious to even the TV sucking public now, who’s behind the mess.
I have been talking/hoping for years that our pensioners will mobilise. It is alot harder for the media to spin them into something moraly bad or aggressive. Protest of Violent far right pensioners doesn’t quite convince.
They will also hopefully have a more profound impact on the police staff although they have been eagerly replacing street grown police staff with university or college grown ones for years.
I think it is called „degree first initiative“.
These new police people have way less people skills but are excellent with paperwork. And since they came through academia they have a certain political orientation.
Oh welp, suddenly we care now about people being arrested for having an opinion.
I’m from the UK. Noone is getting arrested for supporting Palestine. There are regular marches etc and that’s allowed.
The problem is a group called „Palestine Action“ who took things too far and broke into a military base and caused damage so they have been categorised as a terrorist organisation.
The people arrested here are carrying banners in support of a terrorist organisation.
Now talk about what is happening to people in Britain who protest about illegal immigrants from Africa and the Middle East………oh wrong narrative I guess…..
I hate these posts… when an assembly is deemed unlawful and you don’t disperse… you get arrested! This has nothing to do with what the people are protesting. The right loves these fake narratives of victimhood…

The Neo-Left is being used to gain support for arresting protesters, from people on the right, and the Neo-right is being used to garner support for arresting people for hate speech, from people on the left.

No one is arrested in the UK for being pro Palestine. I’m pro Palestine and I and anyone I know who supports Palestine have never been in trouble because of supporting Palestine. These people on the OP post are actually being arrested for supporting Palestine Action.
There is a group called Palestine Action which vandalised a bunch of British planes and understandably the UK views them as a terrorist group and supporting them is a crime according to the UK terrorist act of the 2000. People who support PA just want to be edgy and to be the center of attention (because they get a kick in wanting to show the world that they are being persecuted). They don’t realise that they are supporting a terrorist organisation and ruining their lives in the process.

Our current PM defended Palestine Action when they done a similar stunt about 10 or more years ago, breaking into an army base and spray painting a military aircraft to stop it from taking off to be used as part of a genocide. He got them off the hook.
Now he’s in power, he has to bend the knee to Israel and I believe that prescribing Palestine Action is part of a humiliation ritual designed to put him in his place about it. Then again, the UK has chosen to eventually recognise Palestine as a state…so I could be completely wrong lol.

In the us, some people are saying that protesters are being arrested for simply opposing genocide, when the truth is, people are being arrested for attacking police officers, vandalizing public and private property, and blocking public roadways. I completely oppose what’s happening to Gaza and Palestinians, but I also realize that aggravating my fellow citizens isn’t going help those people.
Shame on them. This is so disgusting and disrespectful to our elders. We are living through very dark times that will not be remembers fondly in history.
Why did we even give these people all this power? There is a reason we were warned about them throughout history and people just don’t listen. They were kept out of positions of power for a damn reason. It should have remained this way and this world would be so much better.
As long as the likes of Kier Starmer is running the show in the UK, expect this kind of abject stupidity to continue. After all, he’s only doing what his masters tell him, without any thought for the consequences.
