Ich habe dies mit Matplotlib in Python für gemacht Dieser Substackpostenwo ich ein paar Einschränkungen erkläre und ein paar Fragen darüber auf werfe, was die Änderungen erklären könnte. (NB Die Fehlerränder sind an Stellen recht breit.) Die ursprüngliche Quelle der Daten ist die Ons. (Bearbeiten Ich habe jetzt das heterosexuelle Diagramm hinzugefügt, der nach einer Benutzeranforderung folgt.)

Did you have to pick the most identical colors possible?
Probably should specify these are “non heterosexual” sexualities since “other” clearly isn’t including straight here lol

This is far from beautiful – the colours are indistinguishable. As it’s OC, surely you can re-do to make this more than barely legible OP?
This is cool, but I’m not sure having the year as well as the generation split is particularly helpful. Trends like the 16-24 group group having numbers going up over the last 10 years mostly makes sense in terms of most pre-teens not expressing a sexual orientation.
Something like this is much more easily digestible

I would probably make these stacked plots separated by gender and age bracket.
The way these plots are right now, they are hard to read and it’s difficult to make comparisons between… Anything, really.
Your age brackets cover 9,10,15,15 years but the timeframe used is only 10 years. So for different lines, you’re seeing a combination of changes by time and changes by age as the different cohorts move between age brackets. Picking smaller age brackets (5 years) and a longer time increment (2+ years) would keep the noise level the same but provide more insight into changes caused by time Vs changes caused by people changing between age groups.
Sexuality is genetic, it shouldn’t vary over time. This is bad data, something wrong with the questionnaire.
