Hello everyone.I’m sharing this story from Japan because I wanted to show how a timeless Italian classic, „Torna a Surriento,“ reached a young boy in a small town across the world and sparked his lifelong love for music.It’s a personal story, but I thought it might be interesting for this community to see the profound impact Italian culture has had globally. I was also recently struck by the geographical similarity between the Sorrento peninsula and my own hometown, which I mention in the story.I’d love to hear if anyone else has similar stories about Italian music or culture reaching them in unexpected places.
