Der abnehmende Trend des gesamten Stromverbrauchs in Belgien zeigt sich auch in seinen Nachbarländern. Mit Ausnahme der Niederlande nahm die Gesamtbelastung in allen beobachteten Ländern im Jahr 2023 ab. Dieser Rückgang begann im Jahr 2021, nachdem alle Länder nach den Rekordniveaus im Jahr 2020 nach den Covid-19-Pandemie und den daraus resultierenden Beschränkungsmaßnahmen einen kurzen Anstieg des Strombedarfs verzeichneten. Die Entwicklung des Strombedarfs in ausgewählten Ländern, die gegen ihre Werte von 2015 indexiert sind, ist in Abbildung 1-4 dargestellt.

Deindustrialising the continent and moving production offshore to save the climate and ruin small businesses who can’t afford it. Just ask your local warm bakery how much they spend on electricity and gas 🙂
