Bad people prevail when good people do nothing. If you are part of the bad people, change, or leave. If you are part of the good people, start fighting the bad people.

Thankfully, the above message disregards all notions of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual identity, etc. Since these have no relation/effect on being a good or bad person.

Here is the key: If there are bad people in a group (existing around race, ethnicity, religion, sexual identity, or anything else) YOU belong, fight them and stop them FIRST. BEFORE saying anything about bad people in other groups. Then you will be able to shut down practically all forms of as hominem and whataboutism. Hold your group on the same standard you hold yourself. And tell bad people in it what I said above: „Change, or Leave“.

The funny thing is ISFJ guy is not even Japanese. It’s some British account larping as japanese and cant even read japanese. I called him out and then he blocked me lmfao.

Do not let these people divide you. There is no room for racism of any sorts.

Spread positivity and the people will eventually gather around you. Remember, hate corrodes and its an eventual time bomb.

I’ve seen so much garbage related to immigration and xenophobia in Japan online the past few weeks. Can’t tell if it’s just online or if a lot of Japanese people really feel this way.

My take: I just don’t know what Japanese people or the government want anymore. I can only give an opinion from my perspective, I might be wrong or ignorant I’ll admit. It seems like Japan has been stagnating forever, voting for the same government that has done nothing to solve their world-infamous birth problem and the economic stagnation that comes from it. The birth rate problem never gets solved and industries stagnate due to lack of employers. Small towns are ghost towns because no one wants to live there. Immigration is a band aid on a gunshot wound.

Everything I’ve done to try to integrate into Japanese society have been things that I’ve had to do entirely on my own with my own research or with help from Japanese friends. When you get here, they don’t really bother to tell you shit. It’s hard to learn the language on your own, it’s hard to find useful services in your town, it’s hard to understand etiquettes and rules. I tried my best because I did my research, but when you import workers from the third world and other economically challenged countries (presumably to pay them less and exploit their labor) and do absolutely nothing to integrate them into society, well, how can you actually be surprised if people don’t behave to your standards. Also not informing someone directly that they are doing something wrong as a main staple of Japanese culture only worsens the problem.

So what does japan want, do they want these industries in Japan to die out? Doe the Japanese government want to do anything that makes having children more appealing and affordable to Japanese people? Does Japan want to import labor and properly integrate immigrants into their admittedly difficult society? What is actually wanted here? I truly don’t know.

Meh, people hate foreigners. It’s human nature to hate things that are different. Complaining on reddit isn’t going to change anything.

Stopping the Japanese from thinking their ways are superior hahah, not in our lifetime.
