TL; Dr. Nippon TV stellte fest, dass in den letzten Jahren Videos von Hirschen, die im Nara Park misshandelt wurden, in den sozialen Medien versetzt wurden. Nachdem Nippon TV jedoch mehrere solche Clips überprüft hatte, konnte er nicht bestätigen, dass einer von ihnen ausländische Touristen beteiligt war.

    Um weiter zu untersuchen, ging Nippon TV in den Nara Park, um zu validieren, ob Ausländer tatsächlich Hirsch treten, wie vom LDP -Präsidentschaftskandidaten Takaichi gesagt wurde. Nippon TV sah jedoch keine ausländischen Touristen, die dem Hirsch schaden.

    Als das Netzwerk Takaichi um eine Bestätigung über ihre Aussage bat, antwortete sie, dass sie einen englischsprachigen Sprung sah, der einen Hirsch trat, als ein Mann beim Füttern einen Hirsch neckte und der Hirsch auf seinen Fuß trat. Sie antwortete ferner, dass es bedauerlich sei, dass ihre Aussage verwickelt war, um ausländische Touristen anzusprechen.

      Seems to be trying to weasel out from her previous statement. Seems like she only saw one English speaking man kicking a deer because he was teasing it and it stepped on his foot. Her earlier statement seemed like it was happening often.

    6. I was helping to supervise a field trip with a group of high school students in the hills of Nara many years ago. During a break a deer came up and began trying to eat some of the students lunch. Suddenly one of the teachers, a biology teacher of all things, ran up and gave the deer a full force kick in the side of the head. I was expecting the students to call him out for being an aggressive asshole and overreacting but instead there were shouts of ”かっこいい!“

      Suffice to say, plenty of Japanese people are perfectly capable of acting like assholes toward deer.
