Briefly: If the EU decides to take assets from Russia, Russia will nationalize the assets of European companies. The preliminary estimate of such assets is 48 billion.dollars , but it may increase.
What are the odds this actually happens? I mean, the EU has almost no central authority, and multiple states have come out against it. Belgium will just veto any attempt, and the EU can’t force the Belgian government to comply.
