BQ just wants a big handout in exchange for their support. Fund a new hydro dam or syrup refinery and they’ll be get onboard.
The pundit class seems to be convinced that the Bloc and CPC will vote down the budget and that the NDP will abstain.
If that actually happens, next year’s budget will definitely be on time.
A second late budget will probably mean an election.
It matters not, if the NDP support the Liberals then the budget will pass. The combined seats of the CPP and Block are not enough to overcome the combined Liberal/NDP seats.
