    1. RIP to a true human who showed that empathy and intelligence is not contained to only one species

Study? …Or „research“ per the Far Side.

      What an amazing woman.

A sad daty for man kind. If more people were like her the world would be a better place.

Her passing reminds us that we are but one step away from primates who settle their differences with their own excrement.

She was one of the best humans… She was a caretaker of knowledge, curiosity, and kindness. We just lost a brilliant woman who advocated for every living creature and the planet. She’s been a hero of mine since I was a teenager.

RIP, Jane. Thank you for all the love, knowledge, empathy, and kindness. Thank you for always caring about chimpanzees, all living things, and the planet.

Her National Geographic, and then everything else I could devour, from my youth have always left an impact on me. A great example of the highest levels of primate evolution.

Holy shit. I had the chance to see her when she came to my city just four weeks ago. Didn’t go because the tickets were too expensive. Now I regret it 🙁. Rest in eternal peace to a legend.

Moral of the story: always get those tickets…

Awww that’s sad. She lived a life well lived and served. She’s left behind big shoes to fill.

    10. She was 91. She had a good run and made a huge impact. Life well lived is all anyone can ask for. RIP!

A life well lived, but terribly sad. This is one of those losses where you know the world is a worse place without this human being in it.
