      The problem with this kind of poll is that neither trump nor RFK answers to the voters at this point. It’s not like either of them cares.

      RFK Jr has NEVER been widely popular because modern healthcare is popular. But he brings a loyal core of formerly liberal „crunchy hippy“ conservative voters.

      The facade of American meritocracy has taken a lot of damage over the last ten years, but the fact that RFK Jr. is in the position of power he’s in is a deathblow.

      It distresses me how little attention people pay until the bad things actually start to happen. He literally campaigned on doing everything he’s doing right now. He did not hide or ameliorate anything.

      33% of Americans and 71% of Republicans still approved of him according to this.

      His numbers would need to be half of this before anyone in the administration gave a shit, and the responsibility wouldn’t probably just be saying the polls are fake

      This is the power of how shitposting stupid memes gets through to the average voter.

      During the election, it seemed like people were scared to make fun of his speaking condition and they treated him more like a serious person who wanted to improve the health of the country, even in spite of the damning clips about him being antivax.

      Now that there are so many tiktokers parodying him as some lunatic, it’s brought more attention to how stupid and harmful his role in HHS has been.

      I would be interested to know if anyone actually supports RFK. Trump has a solid history of hiring the least qualified person for any cabinet, secretary position. Or any other position that can be bought.
