TL; Dr. Yamazaki Y Shop wurde am 25. September in Matsudo City Matsudo Public High School eröffnet und ersetzt ein kleines Bäckereigeschäft, das 2022 aus finanziellen Gründen geschlossen wurde. Dies ist die erste Instanz eines Convenience Store, der innerhalb einer öffentlichen High School eröffnet wird.
Das Geschäft verkauft derzeit 1.000 Artikel, darunter Brot, Reisbälle, Getränke und Schreibwaren. Die Schüler freuen sich über den Laden.

Yamasaki let’s franchisees shove Yamasaki branches anywhere. Want to run a one-aisle franchise in a converted garage? Have at it. Want to sell hot bread and refrigerated genki drinks next to the local karaage bento house? Sure, why not. Want to pack the old house next to yours you bought when the owner died with video game machines and pachislots but run a half-hearted Yamasaki franchise to make the neighbors less upset about your business? They’ll accommodate that too.
I still remember the Yamasaki branch that was in an old house near mine that had a laundromat in the garage and Neo Geo cabinets and slot machines in the converted attic above a Yamasaki. It was tacky as all get out but they would attract students from the junior high school in the area. They didn’t close until the old guy who opened the place died in 2010.
It isn’t as surprising as you’d think.
