    1. Europe needs to do more to help. Elites in Georgia have property and assets in London that could easily be sanctioned.

      Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Georgia. Our revolution against Milošević’s regime here in Serbia was on October 5th 2000., anniversary will be just a day after your big day. It is only unfortunate that we came to the point to again need to fight against a dictatorship, this time Vučić’s.

      Out of all the democracies in greater Europe, Georgia is the one I’m most concerned about, even more so than Turkey, because even though Erdogan can arrest candidates he can’t actually rig the voting system yet. In Georgia it looks like the elections have ended up like Russia in the 2000s, where there is so much ballot stuffing there might as well not be one.
