A program with rampant abuse, labour violations, and probably human rights violations too. We should not be a country where we’re larping Victorian Britain with an underclass of foreign workforce to do all the tedious, dangerous and lowpay jobs
It would be great if this article had expanded on why its becoming more difficult for them to get paid and if it expanded on this particular situation. Is the company broke/gone out of buisness? Is the owner disputing it? More details would have been interesting.
Unpaid wages is literally slavery.
They should procecute the owner of the company for slavery of a human being and apply the appropriate sentence.
