The NDAA 2020 is very clear. Turkey must completely relinquish any S-400 fire units to be eligible for F-35 foreign military sales.

U wot mate? How is that anything less than a massive political win for Turkey? I can’t for the life of me fathom why any US President – but especially Trump – would give them that.
I think the Israeli use of the F-35 has been a bit shocking to its neighbors that don’t have it.
The Turks have to have been tearing their hair out as the only one of the bunch that ***almost*** got their hands on it.
Turkey shouldn’t even be in NATO due to its proRussia, proHamas, proIran & antiWestern stance.

I thought turkey was making their own version of the F-35. Why buy the American version? Also, the Chinese copy of the F-35, the J-35 is for sale. At a much lower price. Turkey can get the TEMU F-35 from China and save a lot of money.
