Likely it will be more expensive for people who do not match their electricity use to pricing, but less expensive for people who do. So it’s a big plus for people with smart systems for charging cars etc, and it will help to stabilize the grid as demand is impacted by the pricing.
But whether the investment in the upgrade is worth it, idk man.
Nothing in Denmark is getting cheaper.
I suspect the change, is about milking us even more, with more precise mesuarment of our use of electricity.
We have to pay more, so we can post billions in wars, we dont have anything to do with.

I already panicking over the idea to start and stop dishwasher, washingmashine, tv etc. every 15 minute. 4 prices in one hour. My brain is melting 😁
In theory it should very slightly reduce the average bill since energy providers will more accurately be able to bid into windows where they can actually produce what they promised.
The real winners are the energy traders, though.
The short answer is no. But this has nothing to do with the intervals at which prices are quoted but Danish energy policy.
We have for decades taken our prosperity for granted and built wind and solar while ignoring the real costs of renewable energy. That time is now coming to an end and we, like the Brits and the Germans are now faced with tough choices. Energy is the lifeblood of every economy and we cannot power our economies on expensive energy. There simply is no such thing as a prosperous society built on expensive energy.
