Das habe ich von meinem verstorbenen Vater geschenkt bekommen. Ich erinnere mich, dass es immer im Haus stand, habe es aber nie benutzt gesehen. Die Geschichte besagt, dass er es Ende der 1960er Jahre in Nürnberg geschenkt bekam.
Ich glaube, da steckt noch mehr dahinter, aber ich bin ratlos. Gibt es bei diesem Glas irgendwelche Erinnerungen?

Kind of looks like what is used to drink absynth (slowly drip cold water in the absynth)
Also just to spell out the obvious, the insignia is the US 3rd Artillery Unit Crest from 1959 – 1971
This is a wine decanter. You fill in wine before serving it in order to let the wine „breath“. That is why you can see grapes on the side. It is usually only used when you r sure you finish the whole serving
