As an independent who can’t stand either party and often talk shit about trump, I will have to give him credit here for authorizing them to be able to strike anywhere
Hopefully they’ll show Russia that it IS possible to only take out military targets, and that schools, hospitals, and the town square don’t HAVE to be collateral damage in a modern war.

Ukraine has had this capability for a while. It’s very visible to everyone now, including even Trump, and one thing Trump hates more than Ukraine not just giving in to Russias demands is to be seen as part of the loser side or not being able to take credit for Ukraine’s strategy. We’ll see if these tomahawks that EU countries would have to buy and give to Ukraine actually ends up in Ukrainian hands with no preconditions or limitations from the US.

It’s good that Ukraine has the ability and permission to do this. It’s terrible that Ukraine is in a position where they have to consider it. Hitting supply lines and energy grids will keep costing Russia money but I worry things are going to escalate to the point Russia gets angry enough to start using their bigger bombs. That’s a scary situation for everyone because a lot of civilians will lose their lives and there’s a good chance other countries could get pulled into the conflict.
