      These fucking ghouls came out so fast to spin any little secondary or tertiary details of Charlie Kirk’s killer — *he has a trans roommate, so we know everything about his motives and ideologies!!!* — but this guy literally had Trump Vance signs in his yard and they’re like, ah, oh, well uhhhh I don’t think we can extrapolate anything from that… this was clearly an attack on Kurscheeanity fueled by leftist rhetoric…

      Yes. He likely hated Mormons because of the Charlie Kirk shooting. Let’s not act like violent right wing rhetoric didn’t push this guy.

      Edit: Based on some responses, I need to be more clear. The Kirk shooting is probably not his only issue with Mormons. The shooting and the right wing response were likely the match on the puddle of gas.

      Maybe Mormons should question, there support for Christian Nationalism. They will never be acceptable Christians to evangelicals. Mormons probably should look at there history and why they went west.

      I would wager good money that Leavitt at no point said or implied „MAGA shooter“, and probably did not discuss his politics at all, mostly on account of it looking strongly like he *was* a „MAGA shooter“.

      When it’s a MAGA perpetrator, he’s a lone wolf with a single bad characteristic.

      When it’s any minority/non-MAGA, it’s a reflection and indictment of that entire community and they should all be punished and held responsible

      We have a government that leaps to try to find evidence that labels shooters part of the ‚opposition,‘ and if they can’t, they go into damage control mode and minimize a fucking mass shooting into ‚just this crazy thing that happened.‘

      Funny how when someone on the left commits violence it’s ALL leftists, people of color, gay, and trans people’s fault. But when MAGA does it that person suddenly doesn’t represent all of them. MAGA is a blight on society and I fucking hope Americans get some sense sooner than later.

      I grew up Southern Baptist in the 60’s and 70’s. We were always told that Mormons, Jehovah Witness were not Christians. Sometimes taught that Catholics weren’t Christian because they pray to Mary. They said that Methodists and Presbyterian are close to Baptist except they baptize infants. They said that Episcopal was “Catholic lite”. It’s interesting that these Christian Nationalists want to turn us into a theocracy because they can’t agree on a denomination.
