    1. > „How lucky am I that this is even a possibility?!! I’ve had the good fortune of engaging in so many interesting conversations with so many of you….of collaborating with so many top-shelf people across so many disciplines over the last couple of years,“ he wrote. „Way more than a poor kid from GA would ever have the audacity to imagine. I wouldn’t take one back. So…If saying yes in life more than saying no is a crime, then I’m guilty as charged.“

      > In his iconic laissez-faire attitude, Goggins ended his post with, „And If this headline is a possibility or an inevitability… if this is my fate…Well… F— it. I’m going to enjoy the F— OUT OF IT.“

I’d be doing the same as him and Pedro Pascal if I was in my 50s and had been working for around 30 years and finally started getting recognition and better jobs with better filmmakers and better paychecks. These few years are when I set myself and my family up for life.

Goggins isn’t taking money from shady sources, Pete.

Maybe focus on your own shitty behavior.

That’s how I see it. Take someone like Shaq. He’s still in the most random sponsor commercials, still just doing wacky shit and he can legit just sit on his ass the rest of his life and be more than good.

Take it and run with it I say lol it’s gotta be fun doing the shit they do and they get paid for it. Do it for as long as you can if you’re fortunate enough to have a fun job.

See the thing about Goggins and Pascal is that they’re really, really fucking good at their jobs. You don’t call that oversaturation, you call it box office draw

    6. I wish Goggins did every fuckin commercial, if I have to hear em, and society has dictated I must. I’d rather hear him talking to me then the drone voices

I mean he laughed about going to saudi arabia considering the conflict between 9/11 and petes dad being one of the first killed.

I dont think its a good look for anyone who went there.

    8. Walton didn’t take money from a country that was responsible for killing a family member so at least he’s got that going for him.

Pete Davidson hilariously thinks he and Pedro Pascal are on the same level as far as fame goes lmao

Pedro is a movie star, Pete at his peak fame was a b-list celebrity who was known for two things: SNL and dating Kim K

And nobody turned on Pedro Pascal, that’s a brain rot internet thing, he’s still a wildly popular actor just like Walt Goggins. Pete’s problem is he like many people think the internet is real life but it’s a poor sample size of reality

It’s insane that I watch random ass movies and he somehow pops up. Bourne film? He’s random agent in background. Baby Billy is a god send. Dudes in so much stuff it’s hard to not like him.

    11. Pete Davidson and Pedro Pascal (the example used in the warning to Goggins in the article) seem like different cases to me. Pascal is overexposure, which is a hard thing to avoid or do anything about since it all boils down to is “you’re so good in so many things that people are now sick of you everywhere.” What’s a hot actor supposed to do, NOT take all the huge and lucrative projects they’re offered?

Davidson has always had an obnoxious persona though, so he runs an additional risk by playing the unlikeable person in every project both on and off screen. His comic style also ends up putting him into a lot of dramas with other people. If you read a headline with “Pete Davidson” at the start you know the end is going to be some dramatic BS. Meanwhile with Pascal and other famously nice actor Keanu Reeves they’re more likely to be doing some charitable deed or defending another, less famous marginalized actor from abuse or something.

Did Pete Davidson even come close to achieving Pedro’s and Walton’s level of saturation?

    13. FritoPendejo1 on

Yeah, Walt doesn’t act like Pete(mostly in the past). Doubt he’ll suffer the same fate as Peter.

Peter Davidson predicting someone else’s downfall while taking Saudi blood money is certainly a fucking choice.

    15. See the difference between Goggins and Pedro vs. Pete is that the former have actual talent and aren’t douchebags.

    16. Consistent-Deal-55 on

Pete, you’re wearing out your well-overdue welcome. Go hang with Saudi’s.

You mean the Wal-Mart/Go Daddy sell-out the second he got popular Walter Goggins?

I’ve been following his career since The Shield. It’s really disappointing. Could have followed up White Lotus to really show off his talent and gone for an Oscar. Instead we get [this.](https://youtu.be/_wu2cir2Sls?si=S03h5nqB_4YKiwp8)

People have been saying over exposure for Goggins for a long time. I remember when a sub on here was talking about “not” watching whatever season of Justified it was because they were tired of Boyd Crowder.

I enjoy him, but I do think he’s a flavor that might not be for everyone all the time.

Predicting the turn coming close to his performance in Saudi Arabia he might be on to something

      Pete Davidson?

The guy whose dad died in 9/11, and is now performing in the Riyadh Comedy Festival?

      That Pete Davidson?

    21. TrueRedditMartyr on

So strange to just randomly say that about other celebrities, and certainly doesn’t help him as far as being a likeable person (referencing Pete Davidson). I’ll say though, I don’t know that Pete Davidson ever really had a fanbase outside women that thought he was hot when he first started getting big/dating Kim Kardashian. I don’t remember people really saying they liked him as an actor or a person.

Walton Goggins replied to someone saying some pretty rude stuff about him with extreme class, which is why he’s likeable. Pete Davidson always seemed like someone who hated his critics and just kind of cared about himself. People really didn’t build him up and turn on him, he got big with one crowd briefly, and his critics got louder. Then his crowd moved on and his critics stayed loud, and he proved them all right, so people joined their side

    22. Mike_Dikkenbaals on

Idk if Walton will take money from the same government that killed his dad in a terrorist attack

    23. Most_Victory1661 on

Been an a fan since he was in the apostle I don’t know the guy has a very likeable quality. His only misstep I can recall was that unicorn sitcom he did.

Pete Davidson is the guy twerking for dollar bills from his father’s killers right?
