At this point I’d trade my life for being a battery while my mind is in a simulation. They win. I’m hoping the young folks today are as aggressive at defending democracy as I tried to be- oh wait- never mind, battery it is

As an aside the industry is moving to network switching, VoIP, and fiber that creates a digital record of every single call ever made from landlines without having to tap anything. Data centers tore all of it.
