Let’s be clear. “she” is not a person. “She” is not an actress.
“Tilly Norwood” which got it’s start as “Titty Morwood” and was then upgraded from a porn bot to whatever this is, will star in such exciting films as, “How to install your new porch light” and “Don’t forget your herpes meds: A lifetime movie”.
Even entertaining the pretense of calling this AI an actor or actress, and addressing it with she/her pronouns, etc, is ridiculous and legitimizes it to some degree. No. Stop it. It is absolutely going to be replacing humans if it is given a spot in any piece of media.
Way back in 2001, weren’t Square (Final Fantasy) pushing their “star” of ‘Spirits Within’ as a possible thing?
This is not an actress this is a malignant computer program do not conflate the two
„AI actress Tilly Norwood draws backlash“
What? Why are we using language as though it’s a real person tho? It’s part of a fkin computer it’s coding, it’s nothing.
*IT* it should be referred to as. Not „her“, not „she“. Jesus…
As real as Hatsune Miku.
Yeah- any movies featuring shit like this I ain’t watching. This is ridiculous.
Creator says it is „not a replacement for a human being,“ but let’s be honest. Even if they actually believe that – they don’t, but we can pretend – every person they hire it out to is 100% doing it specifically to replace a human being, what with all those pesky things like *minimum wage* and *basic human rights* and such.
Wtf is writing these titles? Was it the not-human formerly known as a calculator? Jfc
Guess variety is getting some money to call this an actress and she.
“AI Actress” you mean a computer? A Sim basically? It’s not real, let’s not personify it.
Real question – is AI trained on CP?
The creator is an absolute tool
If it’s not a replacement for a person then what is it? What a ridiculous headline.
Not a replacement for a person? What else would it be for? It is literally a replacement for hiring a human actor.
‚Not a replacement for a human being‘ but that’s literally, objectively what it’s doing???
🤔 Kind of like the Wilhelm scream grown in a lab? Don’t agree and didn’t read the article but I can imagine that argument.
I would like for the company to explain exactly what this AI “tool” would be used for, if it’s not replacing a human being. What other possible use could there be for a fake computer-created person???
This is fucking 00 01 thing, not human. Don’t call it an actress.
Computer Generated Image* Not actress.
Moves are already 99% special effects and now they want to take out the humans entirely? Yikes
Oh, now they speak up. Someone better tell Reese Witherspoon to make a statement.
There’s basically nowhere right now that doesn’t suck. This is disturbingly dystopian. Depressing as hell.
And let’s stop calling a digital avatar an actress. Kind of insane we’re even giving it a name. I hope whatever agency takes on this “Client,” loses all their actors and I hope whatever studio utilizes its “Services,” goes under
This is the first time I’m hearing about this.
Has it actually been in anything? All these articles over the last few days, either for or against, almost seem more like an attempt to cement an industry plant, and FORCE AI „actors“ to be a thing by inserting them into the popular discourse since no one’s actually asking for them
100% meant to replace humans. That’s the entire reasoning behind these efforts. WTF?
This article has to be sponsored. It’s essentially normalizing pretending this is anything more than a well trained algorithm.
That is not an actress. It is a graphic export. At best Tilly Norwood is a file name.
Big „Simone“ energy with this.

Inside sources say that Tilly Norwood killed her whole family 👀
Ugh can we just fast forward to this slop bot falling on its face?
Maybe I’m out of touch, but I don’t think the masses yearn for ai characters in movies or tv shows.
Can we cyberbully “her” off the Internet?
I guess if corporations are „people“, so are AI constructs.
