      This is domestic terrorism.

However, the Trump regime will pretend this was not terrorism because the suspect was a right-winger and the victims are are not from the preferred Christian flavor.

well duh. Of course he was. Probably radicalized by the right wing love of violence and an extremist church. That was always the most likely bio of this murderer.

    3. BlotchComics on

The MAGAts on social media are spreading rumors that he was a radicalized Islamic terrorist.

„desperately trying to characterize this guy as anything other than one of them“

    4. Well, that tracks since almost all politically motivated mass shootings are committed by right wing extremists. I’m sure conservatives will be very concerned with stopping all the violence being committed by their own.

    5. Interesting_Low_3765 on

This should not surprise anyone, the majority of these acts are committed by people by people on the right according to statistics. The government can take that page down, but the information is still out there.

Why are they so violent? Next potus should define conservatism as a mental illness

This is absolutely sickening. It’s just getting worse every day. How many mass shootings have we had this year? 324. Just think about that for a minute.

    8. Flat-Emergency4891 on

Of course he was. The right is creating the murderers in most cases. Seems like nearly all.

Don’t worry somehow a fake love letter with a transgender person will show up

Just wait. They’ll be like, „Just because he supported Trump doesn’t make him NOT a liberal!“

Let me guess, he’s blaming Mormons for Charlie Kirk. This was his revenge.

So is fox news going to run a 24 hour special talking about how the right is domestic terrorists?

Surely we will get an EO designating maga as a domestic terrorist organization?

    13. Is it me, or are these kinds of incidents on the rise, and every single time the perpetrator subscribes to this hateful ideology? Yet the government is going after late-night hosts.

    14. I keep hearing people calling this the American Years of Lead, referencing a period in Italian history where left wing and right wing extremists we’re constantly using violence against one another, the middle basically entirely abandoned.

While the middle being abandoned seems to be occurring, I can’t help but notice the violence seems to be primarily between the extreme right and the less extreme right.

Sure, the FBI’s very own Beavis and Butthead desperately want this to be about far left whack jobs, but when the farthest left they’ve been able to prove is “MAGA having second thoughts,” it rings hollow.

The Republican civil war that they’ve been predicting since Obama won and brought the tea party into existence is finally happening, except the far right really wants you to think that it’s the “far left” they’re facing, rather than their own people declaring war on the Not Far Enough Right. And occasionally vice versa.

Maybe it’s just the lack of ACTUAL far left in American politics, but, when I mentioned the comparison and my thoughts to a History Major friend, he called it the “Years of Lead Paint.”

I’m surprised it’s taking this long for veterans to start taking these actions. It wasn’t even a decade after 9/11 that conservatives began to forget their obligation to take care of those who keep us safe. If I remember correctly, George W. Bush defunded veterans health care on veterans day around 2006. Now 20 years later veterans are acting out – but, why the LDS church?

    16. W0OllyMammoth on

      Tale as old as time.

What’s new though is the president fanning the flames of political violence by immediately blaming “the left,” when nothing was even known. We have a divide in our country and the president is doing his best to make it even bigger.

How otherwise reasonable people don’t see this for what it is I will never understand.

„Investigators said it could take a while to determine why the proud American and family man had carried out the attack on the Mormon church.“

So proud an American was he that he participated in the most American of activities, a mass shooting.

The Republicans will just move the goalpost like they always do. Dude probably didn’t buy the Trump sneakers so they’ll say he was obviously antifa

    19. Severe-Ant-3888 on

I’ll say this as a liberal. I truly don’t care who any of these shooters support. I care that this keeps happening. Thoughts and prayers don’t seem to be solving the problem. I’d like the people that were elected try to do something that could stop this instead of blaming the other side. You know, doing their actual jobs. I know, that seems totally unreasonable to ask.

      Ridiculous statement in the article:
“His recent political views remain unclear, but he was seen wearing a camouflage Trump 2020 campaign shirt, emblazoned with the words Make Liberals Cry Again, in a picture posted on social media in 2019.l

The whack job had the full MAGA Monty going on his flagged pickup. We know what his politics are.

    21. He was MAGA and flew a Trump flag at his home but surely there is a Transgender angle here the media is covering up. Maybe he has a transgender co-worker or a cousin that’s transitioning? /s

oh look another male goes off the deep end and gets a gun and shoots people.

Awaiting official fbi transcript to be “produced” from the last text the marine had sent to a trans lover. I’m sure it’ll explain everything and reveal many years of Tylenol abuse.

    24. You know, I’m beginning to have the sneaking suspicion that it may be the right-wing gun worship.
