Isn’t it illegal for Trump to send in the national guard without the consent of the governor?

Can someone explain this to me? Did the supreme Court rule it legal?

You’ve got to fight the bully pedophile.

Trump and his supporters are bullies and coward people.

Like Trump and his Administration have any regard for the law. They’ll just do it anyway.

Let’s just skip ahead to the part where the SCOTUS Trump loyalists throw the case out since we all know it’s going to happen anyway.

    5. Kegsbreath literally just sent the order to the Oregon NG for 200 guards to be immediately mobilised under federal control for 60 days.

Won’t someone please save war torn Portland? They’re dying out there, maybe.

    7. As part of the shutdown effort, stripping the president from ordering the national guard into states without the governors permission should be on the table. Each occurrence should require congressional approval.

    8. I lived right by the ice building for the last 3 years (moved two months ago) and it is honestly insane what goes on outside that building and the cops don’t do anything. People have even tried suing the city of Portland and was struck down saying cops don’t have to respond to complaints about it

    9. Ice attacks Dallas office and now the secretary of war is hunting terror hippies in Portland. What’s going on with this country?

    10. I’m so disgusted with this country. The party that’s supporting this crap isn’t even worried about losing a seat. No one is going to jail for constantly violating the constitution.

    11. More of this, please! Refuse and resist illegal actions, don’t simply allow them to happen and then sue after the fact.

America really needs to STOP obeying illegal orders in advance. We’ve been doing it since *January,* allowing firings and tariffs and the closing of agencies and access to our data, all in violation of the law or of the separation of powers.

Because of this, he now assumes the power of the entire government for himself, unbeholden to the Legislature and with the Judicary in his pocket.
