This is a test. It’s not NYC and it’s not Chicago but it’s still a major blue US city within the 100 mile border enforcement zone.

So troops will arrive in Portland and do what? Hang out on the street listening to guitar buskers play passable R&B covers? Will troops be allowed to tip musicians that they think do a good job? Will they get a food truck allowance, or will they have to pay for street tacos out of their own pocket?
Two things the founding fathers were specifically afraid of when it came to a president potentially abusing his power:
1. Using federal troops against our own people.
2. Using the office to enrich himself.
Trump is doing both, and he is determined to become an absolute dictator. He’ll be remembered forever in the history books as an extremely sick villain.

– The greatest, „hottest“ country on Earth, and it’s not even close
and
– A crime ridden hellscape that requires troops marching in the streets using full force against its citizens
Ok how is this legal, it’s like the US government is at war with… it’s own tax paying citizens? Seriously? Even from a business perspective this makes no sense.
Do the reddit conservatives have their talking points settled explaining why this isnt fascism or do we have until tomorrow morning?
They’re trying their hardest to spark some military clash against “the left”. They thought this would happen in DC and are upset nothing major materialized. Don’t take the bait. Here in DC we just ignore the troops as we go about our day and they’re bored out of their minds.
