    1. The distinction between great at 8.7 and awesome at 8.8 is a bit unwieldy. Would prefer to see good to be 7.0 – 7.9, Great to be 8.0 – 8.9 and Elite to be 9 and above.

IMDB ratings being a fairly unreliable measure, the South Park decline seems akin to The Simpsons (though I thought season 19 was excellent)

The two South Park episodes rated 9.5+ are “Scott Tenorman Must Die” and “Make Love Not Warcraft”.

    3. Who came up with a rating system made up of 10 points, of which 6 are equally bad? Just make it a 1-5 stars or something at this point

    4. I’ve seen every single episode of South. (Good ones I’ve seen several times.) I have never told IMDb what I think. (It doesn’t occur to me.) Unfortunately, these are the opinions of people that LOVE to tell other people what they think.

What this chart really shows is how networks have killed the idea of real seasons. Many shows used to have 20+ episodes per season. For example, every season of friends was 24-25 episodes except the last 2 with 23 & 18.

Now you’re lucky if you get over 8. You’re really spoiled if you get 10. The Pitt had 15 which is mind blowing in nowadays.

    6. I’ve never been a big fan (Make Love, not Warcraft is an all-time classic episode of TV though), but what happened in Season 20 to just universally fall down quality-wise?
