Hallo, ich habe gerade meine Studentenzulage in meinen Sparkasse -Account eingelegt. Es waren ungefähr 12.000 €. Nachdem ich das Geld eingezahlt hatte, erhielt ich diese Nachricht. Bedeutet das, dass ich beweisen muss, woher das Geld in zwei Wochen kam, oder ist das nicht so wichtig? Weil ich das Geld auf meinem Konto bekommen habe.
Ich habe 7.000 € von zu Hause mitgebracht, und die 5.000 € waren bereits da.

As I posted on your other thread: Yes you have to prove where the money came from.
It’s an automatism against money laundering.

Yes, when you deposit a larger amount of cash, then you are required by law to provide documentation where the money came from to prove that it didn’t come from any criminal activity. The keyword is *Geldwäschegesetz*.
If you don’t do that? Then they will probably freeze your bank account until you did so.
It’s hilarious that you’re fine with telling random internet people where your money came from, but you’re considering not telling your bank.

You’re going to get your assets frozen if you don’t take action. Go meet with a customer service person at your local Sparkasse branch, or wherever you opened the account.
