ChatControl – scheint ein Powergrab zu sein. Es scheint keine Freiheit für die Menschen. Kriminelle werden in beiden Fällen neue Möglichkeiten finden, um es umzugehen. Und es wird zu Ländern führen, in denen Populisten und rechte Flügelpartys immer mehr gewinnen werden.

Don’t get me wrong. Otherwise I was always a big EU supporter, but this seems straight out of the Trump authoritarianism textbook. Seems even worse to me than if Tech companies have our data.
In the long run this will hurt the European Union so much, because Europe was always about freedom and Unity, but how can the elite decide about Mass survailance?
At this point we should also discuss that a person should serve no more than two terms in office as president of the European comission.
Chat Control is a gift to unelected tech and political overlords. Simple as that.

And in the same press conference Von der Leyen say: „I delete my chat history each 14 days“ and the laws for this will have an exclude list of persons.
